How about you? Have you ever had a closet full of clothes you couldn't wear? And you couldn't bear to buy the size clothing you actually needed? Oh boy, have I been there, done that. (That is how I ended up wearing all black to church on Easter morning . . . )
I love how Y writes about this in her blog, Joy Unexpected. (She doesn't know me. I just love her honest writing about body issues.)

I have been reading your blog since you were on ClubMom and wanted to thank you for sharing your journey. I've renewed my own commitment to health recently. While I have a relatively small amount of weight to lose, it's a healthy lifestyle I really want to embrace, for myself and my children.

I so know what you mean. In July of 2007, I was a size 20, but had a closet full of size 16 to size 8 clothes. Every morning when I would wake up it was so depressing to know I had a closet full of clothes, but only had 3 velour sweat outfits, 2 pairs of capris and pajamas that fit me. I didn't enjoy getting dressed, wore my clothes for the least amount of time because I was so uncomfortable and then would put on PJs asap. So, I decided to take control...I boxed it all up and put it in the basement. I took away the reminder of where I had been and decided I would start to lose weight. I have and have boxed up the velour sweatsuits, and unboxed my size 16 and 14 clothes. I am enjoying dressing again, BUT I still remember having the closet full of clothes that you cannot wear.
