Official Thursday Weigh-In
I like to think that I'm on my way back down the scale. Today I weighed in at 184.4, which is a loss of more than a pound and a half since last week. I still can't quite accept that I'm in the 180s--the death of my previous scale and the new numbers on this scale seem so unfair--but it is what it is. Only numbers, right?
Would you like to weigh in now, too?

mel,
you're a goddess and I love you!

Hooray for your loss!!! (sounds like a rude symphathy card) I also FINALLY had a loss this week, and my official weigh in day is Tuesday, but I was even lower today, which is thrilling! 222.8 - total of 67.2 pounds. We must be jiving together. Keep it up! And yes, it is just a number. :)

Still 242, but I actually EXERCISED this morning, whoopee! Starting a wonderful streak of One.

Keep on truckin', Mel! You'll get there! As for me:
149, down 1 lb. and 88 total.
Hey - wait a minute - I just broke into the 140's, didn't I?

Well, I'm weighing myself every day and the weight is creeping up again. Today it's 77.6 kilos (that's about 171 pounds). I have gained back more than 17 pounds since September.
For the moment I'll concentrate on getting back to exercise somehow since we'll be visiting my parents next week. My mother, by the way, will be extra-nice to me this time because now I'm heavier than her.

Down again, although not as dramatic of a loss to 220.7--just shy of two pounds lost. Plugging away because I know this is the way life looks for life.
Mel, you have done so well. You are loved and accepted. *hugs*

Mel,
This may seem like a silly question, but why don't you go get a different scale? It sounds like the one you have might be calibrated high (or at least higher than the one you had)- just go to the store, try out all the scales, and find the one that shows you at the lowest weight!
If it seems like a silly expenditure, I'll paypal you the money, it's worth it!

Well, the last time I was on the scale, I think it said 229.7 or something. For the week before that, i was in the 230's. I've never been that high before, and I'm just trying to keep my 3rd trimester weight gain down to a minimum (gained 10 so far and I'm 26 and a half weeks along...)

Pregnancy is awful. I was 130 the other day and 132 after breakfast today. Whatev. Did I tell you my doctor's scale is 10 lbs off (the good way), and I keep having nightmares that it weighs me correctly next appt. That means my medical chart will have a 10 lb gain in just 6 weeks! ACK! There is something awful about that chart tracking weight gain.
Anyway, I'm really happy for you about your loss. I hope you continue in that direction, I really do pray for you!
