Weight: 195
I'm checking in with my Tuesday weight . . . on Wednesday, if you consider the actual time (12:30 a.m.). Another long day that I did not fit exercise into!
Tomorrow I work 12 hours at my regular job, plus a couple hours on a freelance project. I know. Really, it's just almost too much. But I will do what I must do.
I wonder if I'll manage to exercise? Stay tuned and find out.

While you were losing your weight, exercise wasn't optional no matter what. Didn't you ride your bike on Christmas Eve even after a million and a half obligations?
I'm completely guilty of it myself. It is seeming to me that if weight loss is the goal (and keeping it off, of course) things like exercise can't be optional.
Good luck Mel, I believe in you!

I've been trying to do things in the middle of my day, like squats or push-ups (which are getting impossible with the belly.) Anyway, you mentioned your perfectionist tendencies. What if you just took a few 3 minute exercise breaks? Add them up through out the day and you may be surprised!
*Also, I worry about you getting an embolism from sitting at your desk all day. The hormones make me bossy.

*Waving* woo hoo are you there? Its time to weigh in today.
Yeah, I feel sorta like I have to make sure you weigh in and report cause I am panicky that if you dont do that you will go up the scale instead of down. So Im here cheering you on.

Hang in there Mel - this weight loss journey is not over yet! I'm thinking about you and checking in daily. I'm afraid you sound dangerously close to a breakdown caused by too much work and not enough time for yourself.

I am doing terrible about making comments here...sorry Mel. It was a difficult week here with our elderly cat going through his final demise and hubby traveling.
My weight remains in the low 170's...this morning it was even down a bit at 170.8...not sure about that but I need to grab the ball and run with it.
Hang in there Mel...it's not about weight loss so much as lifestyle and you just need to find your NEW balance...
