I love the SB ricotta dessert! I add a little mint (either fresh or extract) to the chocolate and it's heavenly!

I make my coffee with some wonderful creamer and I consider it my dessert! I even put some light whipped cream on top. Other favorite desserts would be baked fruit with cinnamon and sugar free syrup.

Great! I just cleaned out the fridge and was thinking about what to do with that container of Ricotta Cheese that is going to be past its use by date real soon...

Chocolate Cake made with pumpkin instead of oil. Cake mix, small can of pumpkin, half a can of water. Mix and bake as directed on the package. I make in cupcakes and top with Fat Free Cool Whip.

I try to post recipes whenever I can on my blog. They're Weight Watchers friendly. I usually try to fill my cravings by creative baking!! Dessert doesn't have to be dangerous!

Thanks for the ricotta recipe. Sounds yummy!

My favorite dessert is a sugar free coconut custard, 12 grams of protein and hardly any fat for about 100 calories. Or a cup of coffee with a scoop of chocolate protein powder. Good stuff!

I can't help but wonder if you ate the ricotta dessert first, if you would have been able to do without the popcorn?

I like lemon-flavored pudding. Normally, I can plow through pudding with the greatest of ease, but the lemon stuff makes me slow down. It has this white fluff that you have to mix in, and the pudding is so thick that it doesn't want to come off the spoon. Oh, and then there is the slight pucker factor with lemon. For some reason, whether it is lemon pudding or yogurt, it hits some kind of spot and turns off my "I've got to eat everything" sensor.

Mint Hot Chocolate made with skim milk. Still sweet enough to crush the craving, but I don't use as much mix as they suggest, and the heat and the mint helps me slow down and enjoy the treat instead of slugging it back and making more before my body registers it.

I'm back to eating better. I know I'm pregnant and gave myself this "free pass" but at my 32 wk appt I was up 40 lbs. It made me tired just to think about trying to lose that weight again. I'm hoping to only gain another 10 for the next 8 weeks.

Fat free sugar free instant pudding, cheesecake flavor, with pumpkin pie spice. Perfect. I successfully lost quite a bit of weight after my son was born (we are talking 17 years ago and I've put it back on since...through no fault of the pudding mixes!) and I relied heavily on those pudding mixes. Not sure how I feel these days about the chemicals involved. Still working on that one...

Just wanted to let you know I'm still at 168.

As for favorite diet deserts, I think dark chocolate is best for me. It's satisfying and rich, so I don't feel like I want to eat a whole chocolate bar. I have, in the past, done well with sugar free jello, but now I think that fake sweetener gives me headaches, and I really am not into putting fake food in my body. So, I'm trying to eat food made with real ingredients, but less of it.

Last night we had an awesome salad with avecado, pine nuts, corn (from corn on the cob) and bacon. We made a balsamic/oil dressing, but I didn't have much. Even my kids (4 and 2 liked it). I tried to eat more of the lettuce and just enough of the other stuff to feel satisfied. It was yum-me.

I love a chocolate protein shake mixed with frozen strawberries, banana's. That really takes the edge off for me. I also like to take the special K protein water and blend it with frozen strawberries and water, or just ice and water. It comes out almost like a slurpee! :)

Pumpkin Mousse. You combine a can of pumpkin pie mix - or plain pumpkin to be REALLY diet-friendly and add the pumpkin pie spice - a small box of Sugar-Free Instant Vanilla pudding, and a container of whipped topping. You can make it fancy for dessert, putting it in dessert cups and refrigerating them, or just put the whole big bowl in the fridge. Dear Hubby and I love this stuff!

I lovvve low calorie jello! It comes in great flavors and you can make a huge bowl for just 40 calories! A quarter of what it makes gives you a nice portion, so it's an amazing 10 calorie dessert or snack. I hate to admit this but I've been known to devour an entire big bowl a day and nothing else when I'm trying to drop some quick weight! *slap*~!

Oh my, there is no safe dessert! But this faux banana split is not too bad--mix together half a banana, chopped small, and a good handful of partially thawed frozen blueberries (or other berries), plus some fiber one cereal if you want, for crunch; top with or stir in a generous dollop of cool whip free (but don't eat the whole carton) and then top with sugar-free Hershey's chocolate syrup.
Also, I tagged you--respond or not, as you wish. :) Here's the link. http://runningwiththerunnergirl.blogspot.com/2008/10/tagged-five-questions.html

I second the pumpkin mousse. Like a pumpkin pie in a glass! I also like sugar free/fat free pudding, with fat free cool whip on top. Mmm!

My dietician allows me chocolate every day! Just 2-4 small blocks, but it definitely helps!

MMm custard. I make it myself so it has less sugar in it and add extra lemon peel to the milk. You can make it with low fat milk as well to cut down on calories. But it's so full of protein that you cant' eat a lot without stopping. It's real food so you feel full sooner.

Late to the party with this one, but my totally lazy got to have something sweet go to is a fat free Jello chocolate pudding cup mixed with a cup of fat free vanilla yogurt. Really yum.
