Once or twice today, I said to myself, "Ten pounds by New Year's." Just that simple phrase worked wonders and kept me on track.
I had a dinnertime disaster, though. I chopped up zucchini and Walla Walla sweet onions and cooked them with some egg whites and one egg. Sprinkled the whole thing with a tiny bit of shredded cheese and put it on a plate. Yum, it looked so good. Then I reached for the pepper shaker . . . and it came apart in my hands and dumped the entire container's worth of pepper squarely on my meal.
I salvaged a quarter of it--I was too hungry to make more--and then scooped out a bowl of fat-free Greek yogurt with some all-fruit spread and Fiber One cereal.
Oh, and I did a thirty-minute walk today. I didn't have time for a longer one, but at least I got some exercise.
How'd you do today? What will you do differently tomorrow?

Wow, sounds like you are making some great choices. I have yet to try that Greek yogurt, but I don't really like yogurt.
Today, I will be staying on my plan, hoping to reach my 150 goal next week!!! (fingers crossed)

Sounds like you had a great day yesterday. I did okay. I made mostly good choices and got in some exercises. I'm giving it a thumbs up! Lord knows, I done lots worse.

I did really well yesterday! I stuck to my "meal plan" that I made for myself, and I rode my stationary bike for 30 minutes while watching tv. Writing out my food for the day, before I ever take a bite, really helps me. I am really excited, because I will reach reach a 40 lb. loss soon, with only 1/2 lb. to go!

I did well yesterday. I had a banana for breakfast. Lunch was a diet sandwich (210 calories) and a pear. Dinner was a little fattening with the sauteed potatoes but all in all I did rather well. Today is on track for another good day. I had another banana for breakfast, Subway six inch turkey sub for lunch, and dinner is shaping up to be a good low calorie one. Also, I fast/aerobically walked thirty five minutes yesterday and today. Not bad, huh? Now . . . can I keep it up for another seven weeks? Hummm. I say YES!!!

Not such a good day yesterday...and I also dumped pepper all over my husband's lunchtime burger!
Can't remember what I ate. I spent some time reviewing my plan, and I'm starting today. So far, so good. Oatmeal with fruit for breakfast. I've fallen off the water wagon, so that's a priority.

You did great! Me? Not so much. I will do everything differently tomorrow. Actually, tomorrow is my start date. I'm serious now. I'm even going to post my intention on my blog.

Those are some great choices Mel! Sorry about the pepper, that happened to me with hot sauce on eggs a few days ago, the spout came off the bottle, but I ate the eggs anyway. I love hot sauce!
I've said it once, and I'll say it again, you need more protein girl!
As for exercise, I got stuck in the car today driving here and there. My errands turned into an all day marathon of driving for 30 minutes, then waiting in line for an hour. On the way home, husband calls and asks me to stop at the bank, (drive-thru was open) it seemed like the whole town was there! Grr. No walk today. TOmorrow, yes. First thing in the AM.

Good job not eating two cookies when your dinner was ruined.
My day was mixed. Good choices for breakfast, but then I had a huge cookie with lunch. As I was making dinner I ate a bagel. Bummer. I'm planning to be good for the rest of the night and start up again tomorrow.

You are doing great! Yesterday and today I didn't eat too badly, but I need to add exercise!
