Yesterday, I weighed 211. That is not good.
Today, I weighed 208. Go figure. I was so alarmed by yesterday's weight that this is what I ate yesterday:
Oatmeal with slivered almonds and Craisins (just a few)
Salad with two hard-boiled eggs and low-fat, low-sugar dressing
Orange
Cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and a can of tuna
Fat-free Greek Yogurt sweetened with sugar-free jam and Fiber-One cereal
Baby carrots
That is probably how I should eat every day. No fat-free popcorn, alas. No "fake" food.
Time to weigh in, if you want. (Or if you should.)

Mel,
That is probably not enough calories. You don't want to eat this few calories every day or your metabolism will slow down dramatically and your body will adjust to this many calories, and once you try to go back to eating normally you will gain a bunch of weight.
Weight can be strange...last Monday I weighed myself after eating horribly and not working out much over the holidays AND it was "that time of the month" and I weighed 140. I ate healthy and worked out all week last week, and this Monday I weighed...142. I don't get it!

I agree that it isn't enough calories either - and as much as we would like, you can't expect to get on the scale and expect it to show exactly what you did the last seven days . . . just keep taking it a day at a time - you are doing great!

I think you and I are definitely on the same wavelength/weighlength. Though you weigh less than I do... I flipped out in a huge way yesterday over my weight, and I was almost 2 lbs lighter this morning.
Amazing how it can change your mood for the day, eh? :)~

Hello!
I feel like I have found a long lost friend! I stumbled upon your blog through Google. You and I are very alike. I have been dieting since I was a fetus. 31 years later, I'm still trying to lose weight. As part of my resolutions, I joined the world of blogging and was searching for other people like me. I found you!
I've read several of your posts and I find myself going, "uh huh...I know! I've been there too! Get out! You to?" I enjoyed the writing and will definitely come back.
If you have a minute, check mine out! It's a new blog...I'm still getting used to this.

I was laughing when I saw your posting today...I wrote about scales and the drama of weighing myself too. =)
Nice to meet you! Look forward to reading more!

Weighing in late (again) 151.4
I think I'm down 1 lb.

I did not weigh yesterday, but today I was down from the 182-183 where I have been living lately at 179.8. I will take that:)
I am getting hit with another totally goofed up peri-menopausal cycle. I was 10 days "late" then a full cycle never really materialized...think I am in another cyst process....not helpful to the weightloss thing...

147.5, down half a pound from last week.
I'm considering whether or not to just dump WW all together, and use that money to join a 24-hour gym here in town. I think that I've learned about all I can from the nice folks on Thursday nights, and my main problem is lack of motivation to exercise. Perhaps paying that monthly fee (which is an affordable $15 per month now) coupled with the different types of equipment would be enough to get me going again.

I weigh in on Mondays, but I was down 2 pounds this week so woohoo. I also ran out of diet coke yesterday so this is my first caffeine free day. Eeep.

Weighing in today at 165.4. A 2.6 pound loss! A combination of things contributed to, what is for me, a huge loss. First I know I have been burning lots of nervous energy the last 2 weeks. I am in a play that opens this Saturday so I have been in rehearsals every night and working furiously to learn my lines. Knowing that I would have no time this week, I stocked my refrigerator with my 'go-to' foods so I could easily have things ready to eat and not slide back into bad eating habits.

You got me!--I still have bags of bulbs hanging on a hook in my laundry room. We have our coldest day of winter today (teens)--if we thaw a little next week, maybe I can pickaxe some holes in my garden and plant the bulbs.
Good job on the weigh in! This week at WW they talked about "flexible restraint"--i.e., when you might want to eat at the bottom of your points level. Other people said--to save up for an upcoming eating event--me, I said, the day before WI! Whatever works.
BTW--how do the previous posters know how many calories you ate? I didn't see serving sizes. . . .
I gained one pound at my WI, 167.8, and now I'm 4.8 pounds from my goal, but still over the 50 pounds. I'm putting a positive spin on the gain--this week is practice for maintenance--what I need to learn how to do if I see an upward trend on my scale.

I weighed in at 178 which is eight pounds more than I want to weigh. I'll loose the rest slowly to be sure but I will loose it.
