Okay, so here's the deal. I propose (to myself) a solid week of healthy, mindful eating. No sugar, no flour, none of the stuff that makes me fat.
I'll report in each day.

I'm in. It's group therapy that really helps me start a plan off well. And yesterday I finally weighed myself after 4 months of denial. Not good, yet good. I'm motivated. Let's go!

I need to have a good week too. I am wondering if it is possible with the other turmoil going on in my family. Is it realistic to try and get straight with this during a very stressful time in your life?

Even though I am going to take a extended internet break I am going to join in too. I'll be back in a few months but when I check in I hope to report a serious weight loss. More than that I really, really want to feel better. I hope when I come back to visit that you have lost your 40 pounds Mel. You can do it my friend. I know you have it in you. Praying for you and the other ladies too. Getting healthy is hard but being sick and tired is even harder. Time for new beginnings.....
