Time to get serious. Again.
No flour. No sugar.
I have a plane ticket to a conference in April. That is my short-term exterior motivation. My long-term interior motivation is my health and how I feel and look.
I look terrible. I feel terrible.
So, back to truly dieting "naked". I'll post my weight next week. (That gives me time to get up the nerve ).
Busy is no excuse to stay fat. What if I'm busy forever?
And so I begin. Again.

Your honesty is very inspiring. It is a fresh start! It is about your health and happiness! It's not fun feeling fat and it's about time we did something to feel and see a change! Keep going, reading your blog keeps me going!
BTW Happy belated birthday! It was my birthday this weekend and I also got a Wii fit!

I'm with you. If you post your weight, I'll post mine in your comments. I had a baby 6 months ago, but it is time for this weight to goooo.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life - just take it one day at a time - try to do your best that day and hopefully if you string all those good days along, you'll succeed!
Hugs!

I love your busy is no excuse to stay fat. Well said. I have many teenagers that bring with them many emotional ups and downs. I am realizing I am going to be on the busy and emotional roller coaster for years to come, and I will deal with it better healthy and thin (at least my seat belt will fit better, ha). I sympathize and understand your struggles...I am going through the same battle. It must be the forties! :)
