I did all right today if you consider that I didn't eat anything really bad until . . . after 8 PM.
Let's never talk about it again.
But let's learn from it.
What I need to do is:
Start my day with a healthy breakfast, like old-fashioned oatmeal.
Eat lunch, not just Triscuits and string cheese.
Eat dinner, not just a few stolen fries in the car while delivering a child and picking up food for someone else.
Seriously, you guys, this was not a good day but tomorrow will be better, and that is a promise I'm making myself.
Today is going to be a FANTASTIC day! :-) Glad to see you back in the fight, dear one!

I hate when that happens. :(
Glad you are taking the 'learning from it' mind-thought, instead of the 'oh to hell with it' mind-thought.

I'm thrilled I just found your blog! I need motivation and other dieters to hang out online with. For the first time ever I decided to blog my 2013 diet. Blogging certainly keeps me honest and I do think twice about cheating knowing I have it all recorded online. I'm proud to say I survived week one and I weigh less. Like you I'm a mom and can totally relate to string cheese for lunch and meals on wheels for dinner in the car. I look forward to following your blog and would love for you to follow mine. I like your attitude. Yes, a mistake was made but tomorrow is another day. Stay strong, I know you can survive!

You need more meal options than oatmeal and salad! Perhaps you could have a list of options..

I just had a fabulous lunch of a salad, topped with crab meat and avocado, with home made dressing. It was perfect.
And now I really really just want something sweet and terrible for me. Really.
I can work up motivation, but it's so so hard to maintain the dang stuff.
I'm sure it would be easier if it weren't a bitterly cold, grey January day. Totally.
I'm not sure why I'm sharing this with you, except that I figured you'd understand.

It is always hard to stay motivated. I agree about dreary winter being the worst time.
