Wow. I am not sure why I am so amazed, but I am. I have eaten completely "on program" for a whole week . . . of Whole 30. That means I've been eating protein and vegetables, a little fruit and a little healthy fat. No grains, no dairy. No Diet Coke.
Truthfully, at this moment, I'm kind of hungry, but it's extremely late, so I'm going to bed.
You are not supposed to weigh yourself during the thirty days of this program, but I confess that I cheated on that front. I weighed myself several times and as of this morning, have lost 6 pounds. (I know!)
I have gone up and down the same dumb pounds for a long time but this is a new low weight . . . not just the same five pounds that I lose and gain over and over.
So, tomorrow begins my second week. I hope this is really It, the magic beginning of a success.
I hope that I have enough traction to finally stop revving my engine and sliding off the road.
You seem ready this time and focused on YOU... That is good. Keep it up.

Wow! It sounds like it's really working. 6lbs in a week is very good!
