I've just finished three days of the South Beach Diet.
On one hand, I think, "Hey, I can do this. No big deal. I feel good."
On the other hand, I think, "Oh, this is going to take forever! Why is it taking so long?"
Why can't weight slide off as quickly as it came on?
I'm impatient but determined.
Today I ate:
- Salad with canned crabmeat (not my favorite)
- Three eggs cooked with spinach and Parmesan cheese
- Ricotta dessert concoction (eggs, vanilla, touch of Splenda) (BOTH SERVINGS)
Uh . . . that doesn't seem like much at all, but it is what it is. It's hard to think of things you can eat when grains and fruit and delicious processed flour/sugar-related items are off-limits.
