I have never actually done the South Beach diet. My official diet plan when I started this blog was the Low-Glycemic diet . . . which is very similar to Phase 2 of the South Beach diet.
I decided to start the South Beach diet with Phase 1 . . . basically, protein, some dairy, vegetables, healthy oils . . . but no grains or sugar.
Phase 1 is only two weeks. I can do two weeks! (I did three straight weeks of super strict Paleo, so two weeks of South Beach Phase 1 is nothing.)
